The construction of Scenic Lodge at Merewether was the second development that North have completed for Anglican Care, continuing our strong working relationship with them.
Making this project unique was the extensive use of control joints to manage mines subsidence due to the underlying ground conditions and existing coal mining works. With the site also backing onto the National Park, there were extensive bush fire regulations to be incorporated into the project.
Constructed on a highly exposed site in Newcastle, the unique, high end finish aged care facility was constructed within budget and programme.
