Project Details

The sanctuary is a partnership between Port Stephens Council and Port Stephens Koala Hospital to ensure first-class care to sick, injured and orphaned koalas. The sanctuary also offers a unique opportunity to stay overnight in glamping tents within the grounds.

For the North team, the project included ground preparation and services infrastructure to transform the current camp site into a glamping site, carparking, footpaths, and the construction and fitout of a new koala clinic and tourism information centre.
