North Construction & Building was founded in 1987 and has grown to become a trusted regional construction company with an award-winning
reputation for excellence. We are 100% employee owned, a business that genuinely cares and where relationships matter, we are known
for a different approach.
With offices in Tuggerah, Newcastle, Dubbo, Orange, Mudgee NSW, and most recently Brisbane Qld, North works across a diverse range of
projects within the commercial, education, aged care, health, industrial, infrastructure, retail, and hospitality sectors.
North’s dedicated Specialist Projects Team delivers works under $3.5m and our major works department oversees projects up to
$50m.
North has further cemented our reputation of being a trusted building partner by receiving a 4.0 Gold Star rating under the new
independent Construction Industry Rating Tool, iCIRT.
The rating tool, created by Equifax in close consultation with the public and private sector, pulls together thousands of data
points to understand the character, capability, capital, conduct and other vital aspects of building professionals and their
projects.
We are proud to be one of the very first commercial focused construction companies to be given a 4.0 Gold Star rating and listed on the
iCIRT register. Trust is the foundation of our business and has always differentiated us from most other builders. Undergoing this
independent, rigorous review process and receiving this outcome confirms that we have a proven track record of quality and integrity,
fundamentally bolstering our reputation of building with trust.
This improved transparency is part of the NSW Government’s multi-pillar reform program to restore confidence in the building sector for
consumers and the broader community.
North is qualified to supply our services to the NSW Government’s Contractor Prequalification Scheme for General Construction Works
up to $46M.
Underpinning the delivery of services are accredited quality, safety and environmental management systems certified to Australian Standards
and with WHS systems accredited by the OFSC.
Testament to the consistency of quality produced by North are the many Master Builders Association Excellence in Construction Awards won
each year since 2004, together with being awarded Commercial Builder of the Year for 2011, 2016 and 2017 at the Newcastle MBA Awards.
