North was awarded the contract for the rebuild of the old Casey’s Toyworld at Erina after it was destroyed in a fire. The competitive lump sum tender works were completed direct for the insurer, with MCS as the superintendent.
The works comprised construction on an existing slab with the introduction of new footings and services in close proximity to adjacent operating commercial facilities.
The structure consisted of precast concrete and structural steel construction with commercial glazing and feature pre finished facades and all requiring essential fire services. Fit out was left for future tenants in all of the commercial spaces with the new Casey’s Toyworld fit out being completed as part of our work. North also completed the fit out in this development for The R.E.A.D. clinic as a separate contract.
