The project involved the demolition of existing buildings and surrounding retaining walls and pavements, construction of a new TAS building and learning spaces, workshops, student commercial Kitchen, welding rooms, digital fabrication room, spray booth, new and reshaped landscaped areas. New pavement detailing was created to accommodate the change in
floor levels and awning structures to link with adjacent buildings.
The team identified design challenges early into the project and were able to rectify them in conjunction with the Client without impacting the budget and programme. In addition to this, the project was set deep within a busy operating school without an issue and to the satisfaction of the client
