Our Specialist Projects team completed three stages of work within the live hospital environment. Designed by dwp | design worldwide partnership, stage 1 and 2 office refurbishments started right away with stage 3 following on from that and including the demolition and reconfiguration of a section of the radiation therapy department to make way for a new PET scanner. As well as new walls and finishes, major works in stage 3 also include structural steel slab strengthening, core filled block walls for radiation shielding, and services upgrades in preparation for the PET scanner installation.
