The project comprises of the construction of a new 6,300m2 production and freezer building with new loading docks, offices, amenities, lunch area, package labelling facilities, ammonia based refrigerant plant rooms, 4,200m2freezer store featuring 6,336 pallets, a conveyor storage igloo and conveyor link which is approximately 98m in length from the production area to new freezer store. 28,000 tonnes of fill will be imported to the site to raise the new building above flood level. Upon completion of the building, North will demolish the existing 2,400m2 freezer.
