Project Details

The Kurri Kurri Substation project involved the construction of a new Switch building and outdoor switch yard, inclusive of an in-ground oil water separator tank and blast proof 400mm thick transformer walls with split face blocks. This substation was built to service the increasing demand for power in this area and as with all Ausgrid projects is built with a minimum 100year lifespan in mind.
