North was awarded the contract for Stage 1 & 1a of the Central Coast Mariners Centre of Excellence at competitive Lump Sum tender. The works were funded under a Federal Government Community Infrastructure Grants programme which required FSC accreditation which North attained in 2011.

The Stages comprised the following:

Stage 1 valued at $5M construction of new amenities and training facilities for the Central Coast Mariners football team including new car parking, 4,000,000L OSD tank and preparation for new Soccer 5s pitches (further works for the Soccer 5s was contracted directly with the Soccer 5s on the site)

Stage 1a valued at $5.15M construction of new aquatics facility comprising 25m training pool and associated 12.5m Learn to Swim / Hydrotherapy Pool, both in ground concrete construction with state of the art filtration and heating services. Also completed during this stage was additional car parking on the site and $900,000 upgrade to the Bryant Drive/Wyong Road roundabout adjacent to the site.
