Jewellstown Plaza – Commercial Shopping Centre

Client: Gregmal Jewellstown Pty Ltd

VAlue: $2,300,000

Architect: EJE Architecture

Project Details

The Jewellstown Plaza project involved co-ordination of a complete overhaul of the centre, converting a tired 30 year old collection of buildings and additions into a modern commercial shopping centre. This involved the construction of new entries, alfresco eating areas, landscaping, internal fit-out to mall common areas and new amenities.

The project was completed within a tight construction programme including numerous additions to the scope during the construction period. Hoardings, traffic control, noise control and signage requirements with staged co-ordination were frequently reviewed with centre management. Further to this, Norths facilitated the construction staging and changeover of existing tenants into new tenancies within the centre. This staging, brought about by the need to keep the centre fully operating throughout the construction period, necessitated many programming milestones and some out of hours work.
