The Village will serve as a central hub for athletes, schools, and corporate groups seeking comprehensive team training and development activities.With a capacity to host 96 guests across 32 rooms, Mudgee Team Training Village will cater to groups of various sizes, ensuring a comfortable stay. The focus on comfort extends to every aspect, with amenities designed to meet the diverse needs of visiting groups and individuals.Mudgee Team Training Village will feature a dedicated gym tailored to meet the specific requirements of sports training as well as dedicated recuperation areas within the facility. Communal areas will feature BBQ facilities, a games room, and fire pit, purposefully designed to promote camaraderie among guests.This initiative, supported by grants from the NSW Government Resources for Regions Round 8 and Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund Round 2, alongside contributions from the Council, highlights a commitment to offering premium facilities with the aim to draw visitors to the region, strengthening the local economy.The Mudgee Team Training Village is being developed as part of the wider Glen Willow Sporting Precinct in Mudgee. This facility will further support opportunities for Glen Willow and the Mid Western Regional Council to host regional sports events. The facility is a purpose designed and built facility that will provide accommodation and training facilities for visiting teams.The Mudgee Training Camp Facility involves the design and construction of three buildings as part of the new development. Building A consists of a gymnasium, seminar rooms, games room, dining area, lounge area, commercial kitchen, toilets, prayer room, office, cleaner’s room, and laundry and storage rooms. Buildings B and C are duplicate in design and consist of accommodation rooms with shared ensuites, wardrobes and desks, communal areas with kitchenettes, dining and lounge and external services cupboards.
