The Newcastle Eye Hospital project, designed by dwp, included a 3-storey extension to the existing hospital with new reception and waiting areas, consult rooms, meeting lounge, operating theatre, level 1 tenancies, bathrooms, basement car parking and associated civil works. A focus for our team was minimising disruption to the operations of the adjoining facility which remained fully functioning during the construction works. Upon completion of the extension, the existing reception and consult rooms were refurbished to match the new works.
Whilst delivering this project, we were contracted by Clarity Radiology to fit out their new medical imaging practice located within the new extension. The fit out included MRI, X-ray, CT scan rooms and offices.
