Built to facilitate the expansion of the existing school & broaden the services & learning spaces currently available, SPCC Cessnock campus’s Activate Centre has been warmly welcomed by the school community.
The Ultra-modern design, use of contemporary materials and bright colours have created a vibrant multi sport/learning facility with “state or the art” Gymnasium spaces including indoor Basketball court, Cardio & strength centres, plus general learning spaces, all under the one roof.
Through a fully collaborative construction management process, North have delivered a MBA award-winning facility which exceeds the clients expectation. This included the integration, whilst in construction of Stage 1, a 1.5M (stage 2) fit out expansion into the original scope of works. Close working with the Architect & school to “Design & construct” this stage in parallel with the main structural contract presented many challenges, all of which were successfully overcome & delivered within budget and to agreed program timeframes.
