The Coast Christian School is a multi use facility constructed as an extension to the existing school hall of the Coast Community School, Bensville. The centre provides for learning environments for the school as well as use by the church for their various programmes and activities.
The project was delivered on a construction management basis with North managing the various trades on site as well as coordinating the design with specialist consultants. This allowed North to ensure that the specific requirements of the client were achieved in a cost effective manner. This involved managing a tight budget and reallocating project funds as they become available through the release of contingencies for various construction related risks.
The Christian Education Centre has also had significant investment in “future proofing” including the installation of infrastructure for future operable walls, wet areas and services expansion in an effort to reduce future costs.
