North delivered the major upgrade of Wamberal Public School as part of the NSW State Government’s $6 billion school building program. The project provides cutting-edge school resources including a new home base building, extension of existing hall, upgrade of canteen and student toilets, 15 new classrooms with two existing classrooms converted to special education classrooms, including an area for activities. Additional carparking improvements were also completed.
The project also received air conditioning to all new spaces as part of the Cooler Classroom Programs. One of the attractions for students includes a set of traffic lights which measures the energy use at the school.
The project provides the latest education facilities to accommodate the growing School community. North were able to have these classrooms ready to go for students and teachers on day one of the 2020 school year.
